THE QED FOUNDATION

GET CERTIFIED IN MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID!

The QED Foundation offers courses in Mental Health First Aid led by nationally licensed trainers. Sign up for a 1-day session and earn a certificate from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, a program recognized across the United States and in over 30 countries.


Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

Courses are offered online and in-person.


Or sign up for a blended course. Certification requirements: 

  • 2-hour self-paced online pre-work 
  • 6-hour virtual instructor led session
  • End of course exam (minimum score of 80%)
